writing again

In the face of AI slop, one may think it's hard to find the motivation to create and write. If anything it's lit a fire under my ass to make more things. Which lead me to writing this first blog post. I've been wanting to talk about what I'm reading and watching with my friends so this is an easy way to make them read what I have to say, whether they do or not is not my problem. I want to give credit for my motivation to do this to one person specifically, she never fails to make me feel like I'm smart (even though she is magnitudes more intelligent than I am), Lilli. We both want to (and still will I hope) start a book club. She listens to whenever I have a random rant about something or a book review to give her so this is hopefully a gateway into us really doing it!

This will be a stream of consciousness (maybe a little structured occasionally) journal, for my book reviews, rants and other creative endeavors. There will be lots of bad grammar I'm sure but I wear it as a badge of honour, I'm sorry to my English teachers and English Tutor! Although it is because of them I can actually form thoughts about the media I consume.
